FAQs
1. How do I purchase tickets to the event?
Head to https://thecolonysd.com/event/experience_nomadic/ and buy your weekend GA + Camp Don’t Comedy ticket for $75 including a campsite.
2. Can I purchase tickets in-person?
Yes, you can still purchase tickets at the event! Please bring cash if you are purchasing your ticket at the event.
3. How will I receive my ticket?
You will receive an email confirming your ticket purchase AND a second email from The Colony confirming your ticket with additional information. We will have a check-in list at the event.
4. Are there single day passes?
No, but your ticket grants you access for the whole weekend. You are free to arrive whenever from Friday to Sunday!
5. Are there any age restrictions?
You must be 21 years or older to attend.
6. If it rains, does that mean the event is cancelled?
No. Rain or shine, the event continues on!
7. What’s the best time to arrive?
If you’re planning to come Friday, please arrive around 3PM.
If you’re planning to come Saturday, please arrive between 11AM-4PM.
8. What should I bring with me?
If you are spending the night, please treat it as a camping trip. Bring a tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, food, water, toiletries, etc.
9. Will I be able to cook food?
Our outdoor communal kitchen will be at your disposal! It is preferred that you bring your own food for the weekend.
10. Will food be provided at the event?
We will have a free taco bar on Saturday as well as a free acai bar on Sunday Morning (while supplies last). Please pack accordingly and bring enough food for the weekend.
11. Can I pay with credit cards at the event?
The event is cash-only for the food vendor and bar.
12. Can I bring alcohol?
Absolutely! You can bring your own alcohol. Cans are preferred over glass bottles, please and thank you!
13. Can I bring my own generator to the event?
Yes! If you don’t have a generator, you can also pay for upgraded powered campsites for $15 a night.
14. Where is the closest parking?
You will be able to park on your campsite. Please visit the check-in desk upon arrival to register your vehicle.
15. Are there assigned camping spots?
Campsites will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. The earlier you arrive, the better chance you have of picking the spot of your choice.
16. Is there security monitoring the campsite during the event?
Yes. We will have security on Saturday since it will be the busiest day.
17. Are there showers and bathroom facilities available?
Yes. There are free showers and bathroom facilities at the campsite.
18. Can I bring my pet?
Dogs are allowed! Please bring supplies to clean after your pet.
19. Can I build my own campfire?
No, we have a communal fire pit and will host a group bonfire jam session on Friday!
20. Can I bring my RV?
